Weeks Timeline

  • Problem :

In Bangladesh, finding a blood donor during emergencies is still a manual and unreliable process. Most people depend on social media posts, WhatsApp groups, or word-of-mouth referrals — all of which are slow and inconsistent. This delay can become critical, especially in rural areas or late-night emergencies.

  • Challenges :

Creating a mobile app like Blood Line came with a unique set of challenges. It needed to function smoothly on low-end devices, even in areas with poor internet connectivity — a common scenario in many parts of Bangladesh. Encouraging users to register and regularly update their donor availability was crucial, as was building a system that fosters trust and protects privacy between strangers in sensitive, often urgent situations. The app also had to deliver real-time donor availability, accurate blood group verification, and instant communication tools — all wrapped in an intuitive, user-friendly interface. Striking the right balance between simplicity for older users and advanced functionality for younger, tech-savvy individuals was key to ensuring accessibility and adoption across different user groups.

  • Goal :

To design a user-friendly, location-based mobile platform that enables blood seekers to instantly find and contact nearby donors based on blood type, availability, and proximity, with the ultimate goal of reducing emergency response time and saving more lives in Bangladesh.

  • Solution :

To address these challenges, Reasonex delivered a mobile-first UX/UI design tailored for real-time responsiveness, simplicity, and trust. The app enables users to instantly discover nearby donors by filtering through blood group and location, thanks to an intuitive Real-Time Donor Discovery system. In emergency situations, a prominent One-Tap Call Feature allows seekers to directly contact available donors without any delay. Donors can manage their status with a Live Availability Toggle, ensuring seekers only reach out to those ready to help. To build trust within the community, each profile includes a Verified Donor Badge and optional ID verification. The app also incorporates Geo-Location Integration, which intelligently suggests nearby donors within a smart radius. Visually, the interface uses a minimal red-themed design, reinforcing clarity, urgency, and emotional impact — even in high-stress moments.
